Fraudulent messages and advertisements are increasingly circulating on messaging platforms and fake websites. These scams often impersonate investment management firms or their professionals and may promote fake documents related to various financial products. 

Scammers commonly use tactics such as unsolicited mobile messages, third-party messaging apps, phishing emails, cold calls, or fake websites. Their goal is to entice you to invest in false products that misuse an investment manager's name or logo.

Bio

Kate has close to two decades of experience in investment management, working across a range of institutional and wholesale client roles within Australia & New Zealand.

Before joining Ausbil, Kate was a Client Director at Stewart Investors, managing client, consultant, and prospect relationships across the institutional segment of the market in both Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this, she held an institutional client service role within Lazard Asset Management and began her investment management career at Investors Mutual Limited, holding various roles within the wholesale distribution team.

Kate holds a CIMA® certification from the Investments and Wealth Institute as well as a Bachelor of Economics, International Finance from The University of Queensland.
