Fraudulent messages and advertisements are increasingly circulating on messaging platforms and fake websites. These scams often impersonate investment management firms or their professionals and may promote fake documents related to various financial products. 

Scammers commonly use tactics such as unsolicited mobile messages, third-party messaging apps, phishing emails, cold calls, or fake websites. Their goal is to entice you to invest in false products that misuse an investment manager's name or logo.

Bio

Andrea joined Ausbil in November 2020 and is part of the team responsible for looking after the intermediated market in QLD and NT.

Andrea has over 21 years’ experience working in the financial services industry, having previously held marketing and distribution roles with various fund managers including Magellan, Perpetual, Fidelity and Perennial.

Andrea also co-owned and was Practice Manager of a boutique financial advisory practice for over a decade, providing her with a unique understanding of the financial advice industry, business ownership and the drivers of investor behaviour.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in marketing and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Queensland.
