ESG Analyst

We are searching for a ESG Analyst to join the Ausbil team. The role will primarily focus on ESG research on ASX companies, reporting, voting and client communication.

Established in 1997, we are a strategic partnership between members of the investment/management team of Ausbil and New York Life Investment Management. Our clients include industry superannuation funds, investment platform, advisers and retail investors.

Your New Role

We are searching for an ESG Analyst to join the Ausbil team. The role will primarily focus on ESG research on ASX companies, reporting, voting and client communication.

  • ESG Research and Engagements: Initiate and maintain ESG research on ASX companies, ensuring ESG integration between the investments team across all funds. Undertake ESG- related engagements with ASX companies.

  • Reporting and Voting:  ESG reporting, ESG-related engagement to clients and external stakeholders. Support AGM and EGM voting in line with ESG research and analysis

  • ESG Communication and other: In conjunction with the Head of ESG, assist with ESG Client Communication requirements. Responsible for ESG databases, sustainability committee, special projects, thought leadership, product development, marketing and roadshow contributions.

About You

You will ideally have either at least 3-5 years of ESG related experience within Funds Management and hold a relevant Finance, Commerce or Business degree qualification.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Management or leadership experience
