About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Manager – Investment Operations to oversee the firm’s investment operations functions. This role is central to ensuring the seamless execution, settlement, and post-trade processing of investment transactions and mandates. The successful candidate will manage a team that acts as a liaison between portfolio management (front office), external service providers (custodian, fund administrator, unit registry), and internal stakeholders, ensuring high levels of operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

This role is based in Sydney.

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in investment operations, preferably at an investment administrator, custodian or in a boutique asset management environment.
• Strong understanding of investment operations across Australian and global equity markets and be willing to take on more day-to-day managerial responsibility.
• Experience or exposure to managing custodian, administrator, and registry relationships.
• Solid knowledge of unit registry processes and Active ETF processes.
• Solid knowledge of post-trade processes, reconciliations, corporate actions, and unit pricing.
• Highly capable Excel and analytical skills; familiarity with data integration and automation tools.
• Compelling problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve challenges efficiently by implementing effective solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
